Acidulant - I’m Back

Acidulant is back on Bandcamp for his first release on the site in 12 months, and it’s a cracker. This one will certainly be getting lots of play on the radio show in the coming weeks.

Classic of the Week

808 State - Pacific 202 [ZTT]

There are many different versions of this tunes, about 42 according to 808 State’s Graham Massey, with one version (Pacific 707) reaching number 10 in the UK singles chart in 1989. Instantly recognisable from the classic saxophone line, this was produced shortly before Gerald Simpson (aka A Guy Called Gerald) left the group in 1989.

Luke Vibert - Worward [We’re Going Deep]

This was the first solo artist release on Placid's We're Going Deep label. It includes a classic acid line evolving over the track's 13 minute run time which never feels tired.
